Bri gives herself a haircut

I don't know what she was thinking.  I am going to have to take her to the salon after I pick George up from work.

I thought this was something a 3 year old did, not a six and a half.

What a way to start the day.

Give a way

Please visit my friend's blog to enter a giveaway for homemade jelly.   http://auntjennysworld.blogspot.com/2011/06/little-summertime-giveaway.html#links

My world has changed.  I am now getting up at 4:30.  We leave at 5:00 in order to get hubby to work by 5:45.  I am not usually a morning person, but it hasn't been bad.  I stopped at the grocery store to pick up a few things.  I like it at 6:30, it is very quiet.  Bri can stay home and sleep because SIL doesn't leave for work until 8.  I think it will take some getting use to.

Hubby came home tired, dirty, hot, and hungry.  He is working 10 hour days.  But I think that he liked it.

It is fixin' to storm here.  So it will be a short post.

God Bless and have a wonderful day.

Wednesday Morning

I usually make my Wednesday a wordless post with pictures.  But today, I have a wonderful thing to say.

George got a new job.  It is such a relief.  He goes to orintation on Monday.

I have been praying and praying.  My prayers have been answered.

Please visit Christian's blog on my sidebar where it says Pray for a beautiful baby.  He is back in Texas Childrens and the family got some bad news.  Pray for Christian and his family.  If you would, please visit his blog and leave a comment.  It gives the family so much to know that prayers are going up for them.  Thank you so much.  I am also still collecting blocks to make blankets to raffle.  Let me know if you can help.  The response has been overwhelming.  I can't even begin to thank everyone.  Blocks have come from as far away as Australia, Poland, Ireland, etc.  I wish I could send personal thanks yous to everyone, but I am just buried.  So if you have sent blocks, I am so grateful.  I will try to get a post of pictures soon.

I have so much more faith in people now.  I never expected the overwhelming outpouring of blocks.  It will go a long way in helping me make several throw blankets for auction, raffle, etc   100% of the money made from the throws will be given to the Smith family to deal with the huge expense of the hospital stay, therapy, etc.

If you feel you would like to help, please go the picture on my sidebar and there is a Pay Pal button set up for the Smith family.  They would be so grateful.

I have been truly blessed this week.  Pray does work.  Maybe not as you think it should or as fast as you think it should.  But it does.

Thank you also to all my friends and blogger pals for all the prayers, good thoughts, and just all the love.  I am forever grateful.

Love ya.

I have been busy with laundry.  We didn't have water on Tuesday as they were working on the lines in the road.  Grrr.

We went out for a few things yesterday and grabbed Mexican food for lunch.  I haven't had Mexican for some time as there isn't any in Ohio where I was staying.  So I had a hankering for Cheese enchilatas, rice, tacos, and chips and salsa.

Here are a few more pictures:

I will be working on a travel scrapbook after I get some ink for my printer.

Have a wonderful afternoon.

I am back!!!

We arrived yesterday around 4:00.  Can you believe we got rain in Houston last night?  It was nice to see.  Even after all the rain, thunder, and funnel clouds that I saw while in Ohio.  LOL

I will put a few pics on.  I am trying to get things put away and washed.  We left on May 15 and returned on June 5th.  Thank God that my Mom was kind enough to wash for us while we were in Ohio.

I drove to and from all by myself.  I have never driven so far.  It wasn't a bad trip.  We saw one wreck.  That makes me nervous.  Said a quick prayer for all envolved.

Have a wonderful day.
