Took some pictures of Bri and the outdoor Halloween display by her play yard.
I am also sharing some recipes for some Thanksgiving sides. This one serves 8-10.
2 23oz cans yams, drained
1 can 23.5 oz apricots, drain and reserve the liquid
1 1/4 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
1 tsp orange rind
1/8 tsp cinnamon
1 cup apricot juice from reserve
2 Tbsp butter
1/2 cup pecans
Mix yams and apricots in a greased 9x13 pan
In saucepan, mix brown sugar, cornstarch, orange rind, cinnamon, and apricot juice.
Bring to a boil, stirring until thickened.
Add butter and pecans.
Pour over yams and apricots
Bake 375 for 25 minutes.
